1);">　　胡杨，是亚非荒漠地区典型的替水旱中生至 中生植物，长期适应极端干旱的大陆性气候；对温度大幅度变化的适应能力很强。胡杨有特殊的生存本领。它的根可以扎到20米以下的地层中吸取地下水，并深深根植于大地，体内还能贮存大量的水分，可防干旱。胡杨的细胞有特殊的机能，不受碱水的伤害；细胞液的浓度很高，能不断地从含有盐碱的地下水中吸取水分和养料。折断胡杨的树枝，从断口处流出的树液蒸发后就留下生物碱（所以称为“眼泪树”）。胡杨碱除食用外，还可制造肥皂，或用来制革。人们利用胡杨生产碱，一株大胡杨树一年可生产几十斤碱。在地下水的含盐量很高的塔克拉玛干沙漠中，照样枝繁叶茂。人们赞美胡杨为“沙漠的脊梁”。</b></h1><h1><br></h1><p><br></p> 胡杨是最古老的一种杨树，在一亿三千多万年前就开始在地球上生存。它是落叶乔木，树高15——30米，幼树和嫩枝上密生柔毛。叶子变异很大，在幼树或嫩枝上的叶呈线状披针形，而中年树上的叶子却变成卵形或肾形(所以又称"异叶杨"）。开紫红色披针形花，结长椭圆形葫果。胡杨还能从根部萌生幼苗，不断扩大自己的疆域。 </b></h1><p><br></p> <h1><br></h1><h1><b style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1);">　　胡杨生长较快，它的叶子可作饲料，木材耐水耐腐，是造桥的特质材，也可用于造纸和制作家具。胡杨林可以阻挡风沙，绿化环境；保护农田，是我国西北地区河流两岸或地下水较高地方的重要造林树种。</b></h1><p><br></p> <h1><br></h1><h1><b style="color: rgb(1, 1,
