In the regional test and production test of north China，Jihua 2 2 No.16 presented an average pod yield of 5 141.4 kg/hm and 5 248.2 kg/hm ，which outyielded the control Huayu No.19 by 6.33% and 6.39%，respectively. It possessed quality with oleic acid content of 79.25% and oleic acid to linoleic acid ratio of 20.6. Jihua No.16 passed appraisal by National Peanut Variety Approval Com- mittee in January 2015.
