Lee Parks，英国注册景观设计师、美国景观学会国际会员，在景观设计和城市规划方面有25年经验。他擅长通过整体思维和可持续发展的设计理念，使城市变得更加宜居又富有活力。

Lee Parks先生自2004年起定居上海，目前担任AECOM上海景观部门设计总监及团队负责人。

初见森兰

您还记得第一次来到森兰时，看到森兰的规划与生态布局，有哪些特色元素是让您印象最深刻的？

Looking back to the first time you came to Sunland, when you saw the master plan and ecological layout of Sunland, what characteristic elements impressed you the most?

森兰区域的规划融合了生态绿地、基础设施（包括学校、运动场等）以及商业和产业，而且紧邻轨交六号线，周边的交通路网也非常发达，为生活、工作及娱乐提供了非常舒适及便利的环境。令我印象最深刻的是，当我看到规划中竟然将湖泊放在了商圈中心的位置，这在上海是非常少见的，与此最接近的规划案例就是迪士尼小镇。森兰湖是一个舒适宜人、适合漫步及放松、更能与自然亲近的场所。

The planning of Sunland area is a comfortable mix of ecological land, social infrastructure (including schools, sports areas) and commercial development with a vibrant and compact commercial hub around the Sunland Lake. The proximity to public transport (Metro Line 6) and excellent road networks makes for a comfortable place to live, work and play.

I was most impressed by the master plan intent to place a central lake in the heart of a commercial development as there are few good examples of this type of waterfront commercial in Shanghai. The closest example would be Disney Town in the southeast of Pudong. However, compared to Disney Town, Sunland Lake is a comfortable scale to walk around and relax, contact with water is more immediate with greener lake embankments and open views. It’s a place that welcomes people and nature.

As an expert with 25 years of experience in landscape design and urban planning, you have participated in many well-known projects. Compared with landscape design projects in large city center areas, what are the differences between the landscape designs of Sunland Lake from the birth of concept to practice?

在做森兰湖的概念设计时，我的宗旨是希望创造一个充满绿色及有机的自然空间。公园的设计灵感来自于兰花的低调与优雅。我的目标是让人们在硬朗的商业街区以及温和、自然、滨水的环境中找到平衡点，提供一处体验感更强的自然之地，营造出拥有四季美景、体育设施、户外餐饮休闲、儿童娱乐等多种元素的松弛氛围。在设计及落地过程中，这项内容始终贯穿于整个项目中。

At the concept stage for Sunland Lake, the landscape design aimed for a greener and more organic space inspired by nature, which in this park was inspired by the elegant and graceful curves of orchid leaves. The goal was to balance hard commercial plazas and streets with a softer and naturalistic lakeside to offer a contrast in experience. We wanted a very leisurely atmosphere, with plants and colors for all seasons and programs for sports, children, outdoor dining, leisure, education and discovering nature. From concept to practice this design language has been carried through all stages of the project.

好的景观设计可以充分发挥自然生态的魅力，请问您在森兰湖公园的景观规划设计中是如何通过“兰花”这个核心概念来强化各个节点的自然生态魅力的？

Good landscape design can give full play to the charm of natural ecology. How did you use the core concept of Orchid to strengthen the natural ecological charm of each node in the landscape design and planning of Sunland Lake?

兰花代表着温和内敛的气韵和高贵典雅的气质，它的花瓣有着漂亮的结构和明亮的颜色，它的香气可以让整个空间都变得美好起来。对中国兰花的研究与学习启发我在景观设计中，用弯曲的小径来模拟兰花花瓣的生长形态。在设计过程中，我通过结合木制延展平台、小型广场、户外空间等来强化兰花的花形。因为兰花是比较敏感娇嫩的植物，在种植过程中需要投入的维护成本会很高，所以在实际落地过程中，我更多的选用了与兰花形态、颜色、香味相似的开花植物作为替代。

The orchid, especially the Chinese native orchids, are humble with elegant and graceful leaves. Flowers are subtle, yet beautifully patterned with rich deep color. Their fragrance can transform entire rooms with incredible sweet notes. The study of Chinese orchids inspired circulation patterns using graceful curving paths sometimes extending over water. Flowers were symbolized by landscape feature nodes such as platforms, pavilions, plazas or spaces designated for installation art. As orchids are sensitive plants and expensive, the planting strategy was to mimic orchid forms using evergreen grasses or flowering plants with similar flower color, forms or fragrance.

理想生活

如今森兰湖公园已经小有名气，湖面的水上运动、湖畔的喷泉广场和营地都是市民朋友休闲放松的好地方。您对沿湖空间的规划设计还有哪些期望？您认为围绕森兰湖公园的理想生活状态应该是怎样的呢？

In addition to the landscape design of Sunland Lake, what functions do you hope to add or realize in the planning and design of the space along the lake? What do you think the ideal living situation around Sunland Lake should be like?

随着项目开发的逐渐成熟以及更多优质的租户入驻该区域，我认为在森兰湖周边可以增加更多的户外用餐空间，这样可以很大程度上增加区域内的活力和娱乐氛围。通过乐队表演、周末市集、社群活动等丰富的互动形式，增强人与人之间的联结交流，使森兰湖成为一个大众休闲放松的场所。社区最理想的人居模式应该就是人与自然和谐共存。

As the development matures and commercial tenants increase, it would be great to see more outdoor dining opportunities around the central lake, to enhance the atmosphere of evening vibrancy and entertainment, especially on the east shore, where the commercial buildings face the late afternoon sun. Live music and weekend markets, pet-friendly areas, picnic tables, toddler play space and a community-led ‘friends’ groups to support the park upkeep and maintenance could all enhance the lake functions. The ideal living situation would be a community that people and nature live harmoniously.
