AbstractOf Abstract Of a large number of literary works，Hong Lou Meng involves the most plants and extensive plant culture．Plants here are not only transplanted in the fictional art world，but also participate in the creation of the art world：many occasions implemented by plants．The author also puts the plant culture into the shaping of character’S images，and creates distinctive living environment for different people． There are many plant images associated with Jia Tanchun：plantain，phoenix tree， apricot blossom，rose，chrysanthemum，white crabapple and SO on．We can analyze further from the aspect of plant． The phoenix trees in the Qiushuangzhai reflect the yard’S autograph，and they the representative of the autumn landscape．The relationship between Tanchun and phoenix tree culture is relevant to phoenix tree’S autumn image and phoenix image． The phoenix tree，the Tomb—sweeping Day，kite，apricot blossom，spring rain and catkin form an image group and reflect Tanchun’S bright character，defects of brith and far away from home in the future． The meaning of plantain is very abundant，and poems on plantain leaf reflect that Tanchun’S strong point is calligraphy．Plantain in rain reflects her sadness．Tanchun calls herself the people under plantain， and Daiyu points out that it is related to the quotation of deer under plantain leaf．The quotation of plantain and deer first appeard in Liezi，but the quotation of deer under plantain leaf is more likely to derive from the drama Jiao Lu Meng in Ming dynasty．Tanchun’S efforts eventually become empty,which reflects plantain’S illusory meaning．Yihongyuan’S plantain has nothing to do wim Tanchun． Tanchun’S poem for white crabapple reflects her pursuit of noble and pure spirit， her poems for chrysanthemum reflect her aloof arrogant character，and the poem for catkin indicates she will be far away in the future．The rose mainly reflects Tanchun’S character，beautiful，shrewd，farsighted and with a kind of awe—inspiring inviolable V 万方数据 dignity
