Among them, the diveion type hydropower station accounts for about 50%, forming a large-scale of the river dry up section. The river dry up section changes the hydrological connectivity of the river,affects the trafer of energy and the living conditio of animals and plants, and will seriously cause some aquatic plants and fish to disappear, destroying the original ecosystem. Carrying out research on the restoration technology of the river dry up section of the small hydropower station in the Changbai Mountai has important theoretical significance and practical value for the protection of the ecological environment in the Changbai Mountai。 Based on the Jilin Province Science and Technology Departments development plan project Research on Ecological Restoration Technology for the Dehydration Section of Changbai Mountain Small Hydropower Station (SF), thedistribution status of small hydropower statio in Jilin Province is completed using GIS software. The area of small hydropower statio is analyzed, and the terrain and water volume are analyzed. And the impact of the river dry up section of small hydropower statio upstream and dowtream on the same area. Based on the theory and method of river ecological restoration, the technologies for river dry up section of small hydropower statio under different hydrological and geomorphic conditio are analyzed.
