彭兆荣，1956年生，教授（一级岗），博士，博士生导师。中国人类学学会副秘书长，中国文学人类学研究会副会长兼秘书长，中国艺术人类学研究会副会长，中国人类学高级论坛学术委员会副主席，中国旅游人类学高级论坛学术委员会主席。四川美术学院“中国艺术遗产研究中心”首席专家，桂林旅游学院“中国南亚旅游战略研究中心”首席专家。联合国“人与生物圈”（MAB）中国委员会委员。国家社科基金重大招标课题“中国非物质文化遗产体系探索研究”首席专家，国家社科基金重点课题（艺术类）“中国特色艺术学体系研究”首席专家。曾在法国尼斯大学人类学系，法国国家科学院“华南及印支半岛人类学研究中心”从事学习和研究。法国巴黎大学（十大）客座教授，巴黎大学（索邦）高级访问学者，美国伯克利加州大学（UCBerkeley)人类学系高级访问教授。主编丛书十余种，出版著作四十余部，在国际国内发表学术论文五百余篇。
Peng Zhaorong is the Chief Expert of the Major Program of the National Social Science Foundation on Research on the System of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage. He presided over the Key Project of the National Social Science Fund on Exploration and Research on the Chinese Art System. He is a member of the China Committee of the United Nations Man and the Biosphere (M&B) and also a famous cultural figure in Fujian Province. He is noted for his work in the fields of local studies, anthropology and tourism, literary anthropology, cultural heritage, rituals, museums, etc. Among them, The inheritance of generations and generations - the study of China's intangible cultural heritage system, The Outline of the Chinese Art Heritage, the Reconstruction of the Chinese Rural Landscape, Dietary Anthropology, Tourism Anthropology, Heritage: Reflections and Interpretations, Anthropological Ritual Theory and Practice which are the representative works regarding these aspects. Besides, he has edited 6 sets of books, published more than 20 monographs (including co-authorships), and he has published more than 500 academic papers both at home and abroad.
