Green to Lead Habitat Update: Goals and Measures of Urban Renewal Integrated into the Discipline of Landscape Architecture

摘要

摘要: 实施城市更新行动，是“十四五”时期推进中国城市结构优化、功能完善和品质提升的重要决策部署。如何保证城市发展的高质量和人居环境的高品质，是新时代城市更新的核心任务。风景园林学科作为人居环境学科群的三大支柱之一，应积极服务于城市更新工作，以“生态优先、绿色引领”为学科优势引领城市更新走向更高质量的发展。在分析了中国城市更新的产生背景和战略需求后，通过阐述城乡规划、建筑、风景园林三大学科在城市更新的人居环境建设中的不同作用，进一步展现了风景园林专业在城市更新中的特色和潜力。在明确了融入风景园林学科的城市更新以“绿色生态、美丽宜居、文化兼修”为三大目标，在城市单元和人居系统、基础设施和环境品质、景观形象和生态韧性、空间物质和文化活力、管理手段和治理水平5个方面提出了融入风景园林学科的城市更新路径与策略，为风景园林支撑城市高质量发展提供了理论参考和借鉴。

Abstract: The implementation of the urban renewal initiative is an important decision that China adopts to promote the optimization of its urban structure, function improvement and quality improvement during the 14th Five-year Plan period. How to ensure the high quality of urban development and human settlements has become a core task of the urban renewal. The landscape architecture discipline, one of the three pillars of the human settlement discipline group, should actively serve the urban renewal, and drive the high-quality promotion of urban renewal with its own discipline advantages of “ecological priority and green leadership”. Having analyzed the background and strategic needs of urban renewal in China, this research explains the roles of the three major disciplines of urban and rural planning, architecture, and landscape architecture in the construction of human settlements in the process of urban renewal, and further demonstrates the characteristics and potential of landscape architecture in urban renewal. On the basis of clarifying the three major goals of urban renewal that has been integrated into the discipline of landscape architecture, i.e., “green and ecological, beautiful and livable, and culturally comprehensive”, it proposes the measures and strategies based on the discipline of landscape architecture in five aspects: city units and habitat system, infrastructure and environmental quality, landscape images and ecological resilience, space matter and cultural vitality, and management methods and governance levels, providing theoretical references for landscape architecture to support the high-quality development of cities.
