Why Early Access?
“Automation games are complex, with many mechanics that allow for creative gameplay. While the game already has a strong core, we want to allow players to experiment with everything available and use the feedback to further improve the experience for everyone. Our goal is to make the game as accessible as possible for new players and offer a fresh take on the genre for seasoned automation experts. Working together with the community will make reaching this goal much easier and more fun.”
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We plan to be in Early Access for about a year, but a final release date has not been set yet.
We want to be flexible in reacting to feedback during the Early Access phase while implementing the content and features already planned for the game. We also want to make sure the game is in a great state for the final release and take time to reach that goal.
Please only purchase the game if you're happy to play it in its current form.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“While improving the game's core mechanics, we also want to increase the scope in many ways. This means more biomes, resources, Sparks, buildings, and quests.”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The game contains your home village and two procedurally generated biomes to explore. The core mechanics of gathering, building, automating, and fighting are in the game. You progress through the game via quests received from fellow villagers and ruins out in the world, all to unlock new buildings and Sparks to solve both distance and elevation logistics gameplay. You can play both in single-player and multiplayer, with mouse and keyboard or gamepad.”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“To reward and encourage early engagement, we'll offer the game for a significantly lower price during Early Access. Therefore, although the final pricing has yet to be decided, it will be higher for the full release.”
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“You can send us feedback in the Steam forums, discuss the game on our Discord server, or even reach out on other social media. We are very interested in your feedback and will try to integrate the ideas that best fit our design goals.”

Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure is a blend of Automation and Real Time Strategy for both the die-hard fans of the Automation genre and the Automation-curious. Explore a strange fantasy world, uncover the mysteries of the past, automate your workshops, and go on adventures with your odd & adorable Sparks!
DESIGN, DECORATE, BUILD, AUTOMATE!
Oddsparks is a great entry point into automation games but with a fresh spin for those who’ve already played thousands of hours in the genre. You’ll design automated workshops and put your Sparks to work in carrying and crafting everything you could need - including more Sparks!
Without conveyor belts, you'll have to manage the Spark traffic to optimize your designs. Use your wide toolbox of options to solve the logistics puzzles you'll face as you tackle distance and elevation.

Take your Sparks for an adventure into procedurally generated worlds! Face unusual enemies like Spunnies and Beelephants as you explore diverse and distinct biomes. Find resources amidst forgotten ruins. Clear up the way to build and connect your workshops. Bring your newfound knowledge home.
