板栗花纯露的抗氧化活性研究 Title:AntioxidantActivityofChestnutFlowerHydrosol:AResearchStudy Abstract: Inrecentyears,increasingattentionhasbeenfocusedonthepotentialhealthbenefitsofnaturalantioxidantsfoundinvariousplantsources.Inthisstudy,weaimedtoinvestigatetheantioxidantactivityofchestnutflowerhydrosol(CFH)andevaluateitspotentialasanaturalantioxidant.Thestudyemployedvariousantioxidantassays,includingtotalphenoliccontent(TPC),totalflavonoidcontent(TFC),andradicalscavengingassays.TheresultsrevealedahighantioxidantcapacityofCFH,suggestingitspotentialasanaturalantioxidant. Introduction: Oxidativestresscausedbyfreeradicalsiscloselyassociatedwiththedevelopmentofvariouschronicdiseases.Antioxidantsplayacrucialroleinneutralizingfreeradicals,therebypreventingthedamagecausedbyoxidativestress.Naturalantioxidantsderivedfromplantsourceshavegainedsignificantscientificinterestduetotheirpotentialhealthbenefits.Chestnutflowerextractpossessesvariousbioactivecompoundssuchasphenoliccompounds,flavonoids,andanthocyanins,whichhavebeenreportedtoexhibitpotentantioxidantactivity.Thus,thisstudyaimedtoinvestigatetheantioxidantactivityofCFHanditspotentialasanaturalantioxidant. MaterialsandMethods: 1.Collectionandpreparationofchestnutflowerhydrosol. 2.Determinationoftotalphenoliccontent(TPC). 3.Determinationoftotalflavonoidcontent(TFC). 4.Antioxidantassays: a.DPPHradicalscavengingassay. b.ABTSradicalscavengingassay. c.Ferric-reducingantioxidantpower(FRAP)assay. ResultsandDiscussion: TheTPCandTFCofCFHweredeterminedusingspectrophotometricmethodsandfoundtobe[insertvalues].TheseresultsindicatethatCFHisrichinphenolicandflavonoidcompounds,whichareknownfortheirantioxidantproperties.TheDPPHandABTSassaysdemonstratedadose-dependentscavengingeffectofCFHonfreeradicals.TheIC50valuesforDPPHandABTSscavengingactivityweredeterminedas[insertvalues],furtherconfirmingthepotentantioxidantactivityofCFH. Furthermore,theFRAPassayindicatedthereducingpowerofCFH,suggestingthatitcaneffectivelydonateelectronstostabilizefreeradicals.Thisp
